We had always harboured some suspicions of the Zombies, largely because Time of the Season is such an irritating track, having been played to death by AM oldies stations since before we were born. But then we discovered Care of Cell 44, which is such a timeless piece of chamber pop that it could just as easily be a brand-new Belle and Sebastien track. And it’s an utterly and absolutely perfect summer song. Pair with a cold soda and a comfy chair on the patio for summer-afternoon bliss.

Isn’t it amazing? Colin Blunstone’s voice gives me chills.
